Play to the whistle.

You might be given an assignment that you’d rather not be apart of or the pariah account no one wants to work on. Maybe the client doesn’t really want ideas, maybe they don’t care about strategy, or maybe they just don’t respect agencies. They’ve probably worn down every other team that’s ever worked on their business.

They’re your client now. Chances are they’ll do the same to you. But either way you have to grind it out – so you might as well do your best. Like your grandfather would’ve done. He wouldn’t of complained to colleagues or done a half ass job. He would’ve got it done – period.

So play to win. Don’t just get through it. Play to the whistle. The results just might surprise you.
