The CMO and status quo

We’ve all heard the qoute.

As agencies we try and make our clients better then they are and perhaps better than they think they can be. But only a senior marketing mind inside the company can create the change required. They’re in the internal meetings, they speak with colleagues in other departments and hopefully they’re part of major decisions. It’s the job of the marketing lead to orientate the company around the needs of the customer rather than operations. This is a difficult task. The CMO must speak the language of the CFO and CEO but also have the creative energy and vision to see the brand spread throughout everything the company does.

And don’t think you need the title to do the job. It’s a mindset. Do you enforce the status quo or create innovation? Don’t wait for permission. Do it today. Your agency has your back.
